Routing Policy

• Lets think about routing policy:

• Some links are expensive only when you use them (volume charged).

• Some links are expensive whether you use them or not (flat-rate).

• Some charge for inbound traffic. Some charge for outbound traffic.

• Speed. Latency. Reliability. Peering links...?

• Some are run by bastards. Others deserve your business.

• Big balancing act. You can accommodate some of this stuff with routing policy.
