Picture 042 - Victorian Holiday

Gold pouring -- The room is very dark so that you can see the bright orange molten gold being poured into an ingot mould.

The ads for this place hype it to hell and back by saying, "$50,000 worth of gold poured into ingots twenty times per day!" It's actually the same $50,000 ingot poured twenty times; They drop it into the safe next to the guy's workbench, let it cool until the people leave the demonstration, then put it back in the furnace behind him to melt it down again so they can start the next demo 30 minutes later.

It's a pity, really: If there was a million dollars worth of gold there it might be worth having funny ideas about the place. :-)
